TS EdCET Eligibility
Age Limit
The candidate should have completed the age of 19 as of 1st July of the year in which notification is issued. There shall be no upper age limit.
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have passed or appeared for any Degree i.e., B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Sc (Home Science), BBA/BBM, BCA, or equivalent degree with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Candidates who have B. Tech or B.E with Science and Mathematics with 50% aggregate marks are also eligible.
- SC, ST, BC, and Physically challenged candidates with 40% marks in the qualifying exams are also eligible.
- The candidates appearing for the final year exam are also eligible to attend TS EdCET 2023.
- Candidates possessing MBBS/B.Sc(AG)/BVSC/BHMT/B. Pharm and other professional and job-oriented degree courses viz., LLB is not eligible for admission into B.Ed. course.
- Candidates possessing a Master’s Degree (M.A/M.Sc etc.) without having a Degree (B.A, B.Sc, etc.) are not eligible for admission.

TS EdCET Exam Pattern
- The Examination will be of an Objective type
- Number of Questions: 150
- Allotted Time: 2 hours
- Medium of the question paper: English-Telugu and English-Urdu.

TS EdCET Qualifying Marks
The minimum qualifying marks for TS EdCET for all the candidates other than SC and ST shall be 25% of the aggregate marks i.e., 38 out of a total of 150 marks.
There are no qualifying marks for ST and ST candidates.
