The state board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh is inviting applications for admissions into Polytechnic colleges through AP POLYCET 2023. Admissions into Diploma Courses for the academic year 2023-2024 are based on the ranks of POLYCET 2023. There is no AGE restriction to appear in POLYCET 2023.

What is POLYCET?

POLYCET is a Polytechnic common entrance test conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Amaravati for admission into Diploma level programs conducted in Government, Aided, Private, Un-aided Polytechnics and Second Shift polytechnics run in existing Private unaided Engineering Colleges.

AP POLYCET Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed S.S.C Examination or equivalent by any recognized board.
• Must have Mathematics as one of the subjects in the SSC/10th class and obtain at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates belonging to NIOS/ APOSS/ CBSE/ ICSE/ OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. SHOULD HAVE PASSED ALL THE SUBJECTS including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
• The candidates who are appearing SSC or equivalent exam being held in May-2023 and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for AP POLYCET 2023.
• There is no AGE limit to appear in AP POLYCET.

AP POLYCET Hallticket

To apply for POLYCET candidates should visit the nearest helpline centers facilitated by The state board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh. After filling out the application form successfully the hall ticket number will generate. Candidates have to collect hall tickets after the successful submission of the application at helpline centers. Or candidates can download hall tickets from the link >> http://appolycet.nic.in.

AP POLYCET Exam Pattern

• The question paper for Common Entrance Test for admission into Polytechnics consists of 120 questions.
• All questions are multiple-choice type.
• POLYCET exam is in offline mode. Candidates have to mark their answers on OMR sheets.
• POLYCET Exam will be 2 hours in duration.
• POLYCET consists of only one paper.

AP POLYCET Syllabus

The syllabus of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry for POLYCET-2023 is the same as that of the SSC Examination of March / April 2023 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Prades.

The Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) released the AP Polycet Results 2023 on 20th May 2023 at the official website. candidates can check the results from the below-mentioned link.

• POLYCET pass marks are – 25% i.e., 30 marks out of 120 marks.
• No minimum marks for SC and ST candidates.
• The results are likely to be declared within fifteen days from the date of the test. The rank will also be downloaded on the same day as the results announcement.
