SSC SI CAPF 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

An aspirant must be a citizen of India, Nepal, or Bhutan.

What is the Educational Qualification for SSC SI CAPF?

Candidates should possess Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

SSC SI CAPF Age Limit

A candidate’s Age must be between 20 to 25 years as of as 01.01.2022. which means A candidates born not before 02.01.1997 and not later than 01.01.2002.

Relaxation in Upper age limit:

Age Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

SSC SI CAPF 2022 Selection Process

The selection of Candidates is done in FIVE phases:

  1. Paper- I
  2. Paper- II
  3. Physical Standard Test (PST)
  4. Physical Endurance Test (PET)
  5. Medical standard

A candidate to clear the SSC CAPF Exam must score minimum qualifying marks that have been decided by the commission to move into the next phase. When a candidate has cleared each of the FIVE phases, he/she will get a job based on the merit list.

SSC SI CAPF Exam Pattern

The examination will consist of Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). All these stages of the examination are mandatory. Details of these Papers/ Tests are as follows:

NOTE:

  • Questions in both papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type
  • Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts-I, II, and III of Paper-I
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I & Paper-II

3. Physical Standard Test(PST) (for all Posts)

Weight: Corresponding to height (for all posts).

4. Physical Endurance Test (PET) (For all posts)

For male candidates:

  • 100-meter race in 16 seconds
  • 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes
  • Long Jump: 3.65 meters in 3 chances
  • High Jump: 1.2 meters in 3 chances
  • Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters in 3 chances

For female candidates:

  • 100-meter race in 18 seconds
  • 800-meter race in 4 minutes
  • Long Jump: 2.7 meters in 3 chances
  • High Jump: 0.9 meters in 3 chances.

NOTE:

There shall be no minimum requirement for chest measurement for female candidates.

5. Medical standard (For all posts)

All the candidates who qualify in Paper II will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade-I of any Central/ State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary.

Candidates, who are found to be unfit, will be informed of the position and they can make an appeal before Review Medical Board within the prescribed time limit of 15 days.

The decision of the Re-Medical Board/Review Medical Board will be final and no appeal/representation against the decision of the Re-Medical Board/Review Medical Board will be entertained.

SSC SI CAPF qualifying marks

Minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II (without adding bonus marks to NCC) are as follows:

UR: 30%

OBC/EWS: 25%

All other categories: 20%

Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFsThe post carries a pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.
Sub-Inspector (Executive) – (Male/Female) in Delhi Police:The post carries a pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police.

STEP 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
STEP 4: Upload the latest Scanned Photograph and Signature,
STEP 5: Pay the Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking and print the Confirmation page for record and future reference.
