Nationality
An aspirant must be a citizen of India.
What is the Educational Qualification for CISF Constable?
Candidates should possess 10th Class or equivalent.
What is the Age Limit for CISF Constable?
A candidate’s Age must be between 18 to 23 years As of 01.08.2022. which means A Candidate should not have been born earlier than 02/08/1999 and later than 01/08/2004.
CISF Constable Salary
For the posts of Constable/Tradesman:
The Pay Level-3 (Rs.21,700-69,100/-) plus usual allowances as admissible to the Central Government employees from time to time.
CISF Constable Selection Process
The selection of Candidates for Constable/Tradesman is done in Six phases:
- Physical Standards Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Documentation
- Trade Test
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Medical Examination
For a candidate to clear the CISF Exam must score minimum qualifying marks which have been decided by the official authorities in order to move into the next phase. When a candidate has cleared each of the six phases, he/she will get a job based on the merit list.
CISF Constable Exam Pattern
1. Physical Standards Test (PST)
Male candidates:
a) Height (For UR, SC, EWS, and OBC candidates except those mentioned in para No.6.3.1) 170 Cms
b) Chest (For UR, SC, EWS, and OBC candidates except those mentioned in para No.6.3.1) 80-85 Cms (Minimum expansion 5 Cms.)
Female candidates:
a) Height (For UR, SC, EWS, and OBC candidates except those mentioned in para No.6.3.1) 157 Cms
b) Chest – There is no minimum requirement for the chest in the case of female candidates.
Note:
Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules
Weight:
Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards. Weight will be recorded at the time of physical measurements but the decision on fitness on account of weight will be taken at the time of medical examination.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who qualify Physical Standard Test (PST) will undergo the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Note:
This test will be qualifying in nature. The candidates who do not qualify for the race would be eliminated from the recruitment process by giving a rejection slip intimating reasons thereof by the PST/PET Board and will not be allowed to participate in the further process of recruitment. There is no appeal in PET (race/run).
3. Documentation
The following Original testimonials/documents of the candidates who qualified in PST/PET will be scrutinized. Candidates who fail to produce requisite original testimonials/certificates will be eliminated from the recruitment process by giving a rejection slip intimating reasons thereof by the Presiding Officer and no candidates will be allowed provisionally.
4. Trade Test
(a) All the candidates declared pass in PST/PET & documentation will undergo a trade test. Trade tests will be qualifying in nature.
(b) Trade test/practical assessment to be done, which will be qualifying in nature.
5. Written Examination
The candidates who qualify in PST/PET/Documentation & Trade Test will be called for Written Examination under OMR/Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode.
Qualifying Marks:
The minimum percentage of marks for qualifying for the next stage will be as under
UR / EWS/ Ex. Servicemen: 35 %
SC/ST/OBC: 33 %
6. Medical Examination
Only those candidates who have qualified in PST/PET, Documentation, Trade Test and Written Examination will be required to appear in the Medical Examination.

STEP 1: Candidates are first required to go to the CISF’s authorized website www.cisfrectt.in. and Click on the Home Page then click on the option “NEW REGISTRATION” to open the On-Line Application Form.
STEP 2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
STEP 3: Upload the latest Scanned Photograph and Signature,
STEP 4: Pay the Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking and print the Confirmation page for record and future reference.
