SSC MTS 2023 Application Fees

- There is no fee for SC/ST/PWBD Candidates
- Other Category Candidates have to pay Rs.100
- There is no fee for Female Candidates
SSC MTS 2023 Eligibility Criteria
If the candidates want to apply for the MTS exam they should reach the minimum eligibility Criteria which have been decided by the staff selection commission. candidates must read every point carefully before filling out the online application form. An aspirant must be a citizen of India, Nepal, or Bhutan.
What is the Educational Qualification for SSC MTS?
The candidates must have passed the Matriculation (Class 10th) Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
What is the Age Limit for SSC MTS?
- A candidate’s Age must be between 18 to 25 years as of 01-01-2022 which means candidates born not before 02-01-1997 and not later than 01-01-2004 for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue).
- A candidate’s Age must be between 18 to 27 years As of 01-01-2022 which means candidates born not before 02-01-1995 and not later than 01-01-2004 for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and a few posts of MTS.

SSC MTS 2023 Selection Process
The recruitment process for MTS jobs will be in different phases as discussed below.
How many tiers are in the SSC MTS exam?
The MTS exam will be in 3 tiers as discussed below.
Tier 1: Paper 1: Online Examination for 100 marks.
Tier 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) only for Havaldar posts.
Tier 3: Paper 2: Descriptive
For a candidate to clear the MTS Exam must score minimum qualifying marks which have been decided by the staff selection commission in order to move into the next phase. When a candidate has cleared each of the three phases, he/she will get a job based on the merit list.
SSC MTS Exam Pattern
SSC MTS Exam will consist of a Computer Based Examination (Paper-I), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar), and a Descriptive Paper (Paper-II).
Paper-I (Computer Based Examination):
Paper-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Parts II, III & IV.
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Important Note:
The candidates who fail to qualify for PET/ PST will not be considered for the post of Havaldar. However, if the candidate is also shortlisted for the post of MTS, his candidature will remain valid for the post of MTS.
Paper-II (Descriptive):
Paper II will be of the descriptive type in ‘Pen and Paper Mode in which the candidates will be required to write a short essay and a letter in English or any language.
Paper-II will only be of qualifying nature and is intended to test elementary language skills in view of the categorization of the post as Group-C and in view of job requirements. However, marks scored by the candidates in Paper-II will be used to decide merit in case more than one candidate scores equal normalized marks in Paper-I.
Paper-II will be held only for those candidates who meet the cut-off prescribed by the Commission in Paper-I for different categories.

How to fill in SSC MTS Application Form 2022?
Applications must be submitted online mode at the website of the Commission i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.
First, Go to the official website of SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in, and click on the “New User? Register Now” option on the right-hand side.
Then, Fill out the application form with the required details i.e Personal, Educational, Post Name, etc.
Next, Upload scanned photographs and signatures as per the requirements mentioned in the official notification.
After that, Preview and verify the information provided by you and Submit the Application.
Finally, Take out the Print Out of the Application Form for future reference.

Applications can be submitted online only through SSC Official Website, No offline applications are accepted at all.
