What is the Age Limit for IBPS SO?
A candidate’s Age must be between 20 to 30 years As of 01.11.2022. which means A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.11.1992 and not later than 01.11.2002.
IBPS SO 2022 Selection Process
The selection of Candidates is done in three phases:
- Preliminary
- Main
- Interview
For a candidate to clear the IBPS SO Exam must score minimum qualifying marks which have been decided by the IBPS in order to move into the next phase. When a candidate has cleared each of the three phases, he/she will get a job based on the merit list.

Important Note:
Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

Important Note:
Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in the test of Online Main examination and also secure sufficiently high scores to be considered to be shortlisted for an interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview.
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. 3. Interview:
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Main Examination for CRP SPL-XII will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Banks and coordinated by the Nodal Banks in each State/ UT. Interviews will be conducted at select centers.
The total marks allotted for the Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of the Online Main Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively.
The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination of CRP- SPL-XII and Interview. The interview scores of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.
A candidate should qualify both in the Online Main Examination and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for the subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on the authorized IBPS website.
