What is for IBPS RRB Exam?

Through the IBPS RRB Exam, The IBPS will recruit potential candidates for the posts of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose) for various Participating Banks in India. What is the Age Limit for IBPS RRB Jobs?

Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager)

A candidate’s Age must be between 21 to 40 years As of 01.06.2022. which means A candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1982 and later than 31.05.2001.

Officer Scale-II (Manager)

A candidate’s Age must be between 21 to 32 years As of 01.06.2022. which means A candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1990 and later than 31.05.2001.

Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager)

A candidate’s Age must be between 18 to 30 years As of 01.06.2022. which means A candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1992 and later than 31.05.2004.

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

The selection of Candidates for Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose) is done in two phases:

  1. Preliminary
  2. Main

For a candidate to clear the IBPS RRB Exam must score minimum qualifying marks which have been decided by the IBPS in order to move into the next phase. When a candidate has cleared each of the two phases, he/she will get a job based on the merit list.

Group “A”-Officers (Scale- I)

PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS (APPLICABLE TO ALL – PRELIMINARY, MAIN, AND SINGLE
LEVEL EXAMINATIONS)


There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

Note:

FOR THE POST OF OFFICE ASSISTANT (MULTIPURPOSE) – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE MAIN
EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING.

FOR THE POST OF OFFICER SCALE I – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION
WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING.

FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS SCALE II (GENERALIST AND SPECIALIST) AND SCALE III – MARKS
OBTAINED IN THE SINGLE-LEVEL EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR
INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING.

Interview

Applicable only for the post of Officers (Scale I, II, and III)

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for the post of Officers Scale I and in the single-level examination for the post of Officers Scale II and III under CRP- RRB- XI will subsequently be called for an Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with the appropriate authority.

The total marks allotted for the Interview are 100.

The minimum qualifying marks/scores in the interview for Officers Scale I, II, and III will be as per extant guidelines. The relative weightage (ratio) of the Online Examination and Interview will be 80:20 respectively for the Officer’s cadre.

The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination for the post of Officers Scale I and in the Single Level Examination for the post of Officers Scale II and III under CRP for RRBs- XI and Interview.

The interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.

A candidate should qualify both in the Online Examination (Main / Single) and Common Interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for the subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on the authorized IBPS website.

PROVISIONAL ALLOTMENT

On completion of the interview process / main examination, depending on the vacancies to be filled in as per the business needs of the RRBs and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the RRBs, based on merit-cum-preference keeping in view the spirit of Govt.

Cut-off Score

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Main examination to be considered to be shortlisted for provisional allotment. Depending on the number of vacancies available in each state, candidates will be shortlisted for provisional allotment.

For Officers Scale I: Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Main Examination to be considered to be shortlisted for an interview.

Depending on the number of vacancies available, an adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times the declared vacancies in each state shall be called for an interview, subject to availability. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for the interview.

For Officers Scale II and III: Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Single Examination to be considered to be shortlisted for an interview.

Depending on the number of vacancies available, an adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times the declared vacancies shall be called for an interview, subject to availability. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for the interview.

Mere passing in individual tests may not be sufficient as candidates should also score sufficiently high on the Total score in order of merit to be called for a Common Interview / Provisional Allotment. The decision of IBPS in short-listing and calling numbers of candidates for Common Interview / Provisional Allotment shall be Final.

How to fill Application Form?

Method of Submission of Online Application Form:

STEP 1: Candidates are first required to go to the IBPS’s authorized website www.ibps.in and Click on the Home Page to open the link “CRP RRBs XI” and then click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP RRBs XI” to open the On-Line Application Form.
STEP 2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
STEP 3: Upload the latest Scanned Photograph and Signature,
STEP 4: Pay the Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking and print the Confirmation page for record and future reference.
