What is APSCHE?

APSCHE is an Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education,  the statutory body of the Government of Telangana, responsible for the preparation of consolidated programs in the sphere of Higher Education for maintenance quality, accessibility, and employability.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education is primarily a coordinating body between the University Grants Commission (UGC), the State Government, and the Universities. It is the general duty of the Council to coordinate and determine standards in institutions of Higher Education, Research, Scientific, and Technical Institutions in accordance with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission from time to time. The Act 16 of 1988 envisages three distinct functions:

AP RCET 2022 Exam Date

Based on the official notification, the AP RCET 2023 entrance test is conducted from 17-10-2022 to 19-10-2022. However, until then, aspirants keep visiting the official website for exam-related updates or visit us for more updates on this test.

AP RCET Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Aspirants should be of Indian Nationality, They should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Educational Qualification

Candidates with PG in respective subject and qualified in UGCNET(Including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR-NET(Including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE (with valid score)/ GPAT (with valid score)/ and FDP/ Teacher Fellowship holders or who have passed M.Phil Programme.

Important Note:

Candidates waiting for the final semester / Year result of the qualifying degree can also apply for APRCET-2022. But such candidates shall be considered for admission only if they submit a PG degree certificate at the time of interview.

AP RCET Application Fee

AP RCET 2022 Application Fee is different for different category candidates. here we have given you the complete structure of the fee for all the category candidates. before going to Apply make sure of your category and application fee.

The candidate can apply for at most two subjects only in the APRCET-2022

• OC candidates have to pay Rs. 1500/-
• BC candidates have to pay Rs. 1300/-
• SC/ST/PWD candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/-

Important note:

1. Submission of online application with late fee (Rs. 2000/- + Registration fee) is 05-10-2022
2. Submission of online application with late fee (Rs. 5000/- + Registration fee) is 11-10-2022

AP RCET 2022 Exam Pattern

APRCET-2022 is a computer-based test. The test shall be in multiple choice questions. Each question carries one mark. There shall not be any negative marks. The test will be conducted for two categories of candidates.

Category-I:

Candidates with PG in respective subject and qualified in UGCNET(Including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR-NET(Including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE (with valid score)/ GPAT (with valid score)/ and FDP/ Teacher Fellowship holders or who have passed M.Phil Programme. Category-I candidates have to write only Section-A (Research Methodology for 70 marks) of APRCET-2022.

Category-II:

Candidates with PG in their respective subject and not covered in Category I will be considered under this category. Category II candidates have to write Section A (Research Methodology for 70 marks) and Section B (respective subject for 70 Marks) of the APRCET-2022.

To qualify for an interview, candidates belonging to Category-1 and Category-II should have to secure a minimum of 50% marks for OC candidates and 45% marks for BC/SC/ST/PWD in APRCET-2022.

After qualifying in APRCET-2022 for the interview, the candidate has to attend an interview for (i) Category-I: 30 marks and (ii) Category-II: 60 marks.

Rank in APRCET will be based on the total marks obtained by the candidate in the written test and interview.

In APRCET-2022, Part-A for all the subjects including languages is in English only and the Part B of the subjects except languages are in English. For Languages, Part B is in the respective language.
