APSCHE is an Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education,  the statutory body of the Government of Telangana, responsible for the preparation of consolidated programs in the sphere of Higher Education for maintenance quality, accessibility, and employability.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education is primarily a coordinating body between the University Grants Commission (UGC), the State Government, and the Universities. AP PECET 2023 Physical Efficiency & Skill Test

AP PECET Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Aspirants should be of Indian Nationality, They should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Educational Qualification

B.P.Ed:

Candidates should have appeared or passed a three-year degree examination recognized by any university in A.P. or any other university recognized as equivalent.

U.G.D.P.Ed:

Candidates should have appeared or passed an Intermediate or equivalent course recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Age Limit

B.P.Ed:

Candidates should have completed 19 years of age on 01.07.2023.

U.G.D.P.Ed:

Candidates should have completed 16 years of age on 01.07.2023.

Upper Age limit:

No upper age limit for AP PGCET 2023

AP PECET Application Fee

AP PECET 2023 Application Fee is different for different category candidates. here we have given you the complete structure of the fee for all the category candidates. before going to Apply make sure of your stream and application fee.

• OC candidates have to pay Rs. 900/-
• BC candidates have to pay Rs. 800/-
• SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 700/-

Important note:

1. The last date for submitting online applications with a late fee of Rs.500/- is 17.05.2023
2. The last date for submitting online applications with a late fee of Rs.1000/- is 24.05.2023

AP PECET 2023 Exam Pattern

Scheme of Entrance test for B.P.Ed.(Two years) and U.G.D.P.Ed. (Two Years) Courses:

The Common Entrance Test for entry of students into B.P.Ed. (Two years) and U.G.D.P.Ed. (Two years) Courses Comprise of two parts, namely:

1. Physical Efficiency Test and

2. Skill Test in Game

Physical Efficiency Test: Maximum 400 marks:

FOR MEN CANDIDATES:

A. Compulsory Events (No option)

i. 100 Meters run: 100 Marks

ii. Putting the shot (6 Kgs.): 100 Marks

iIi. 800 Meters run: 100 Marks

B. Optional Event

iv. Long Jump / High Jump: 100 Marks

FOR WOMEN CANDIDATES:

A. . Compulsory Events (No option)

i. 100 meters run: 100 Marks

ii. Putting the shot (4 Kgs.): 100 Marks

iIi. 400 Meters run: 100 Marks

B. Optional Event

iv. Long Jump / High Jump: 100 Marks

Important Note:

The Candidate has to choose either High Jump or Long Jump. Candidate has to mention Option in the application. Changing of option at the time of the test is not permitted.

Skill Test in Game: Maximum 100 Marks:

The skills of the candidate shall be tested in any one of the following games opted by the candidate:

1. Ball Badminton
2. Basketball
3. Cricket
4. Football
5. Handball
6. Hockey
7. Kabaddi
8. Kho-Kho
9. Shuttle Badminton
10. Tennis
11. Volleyball

Important Note:

If any Candidate fails to choose any one of these games in the application, the candidate will not be allowed to attend the examination in the skill test and he/she loses the chance to appear for 100 marks skill test. If any candidate chooses more than one game, then also, the candidate will not be allowed to the skill test. So, the candidate should fill out the application properly by choosing only one game. Changing of option at the time of the test is not permitted.

AP PECET 2023 Qualifying Marks

The qualifying marks in the APPECET shall be 30% of the aggregate marks allotted for all the test items i.e. Physical Efficiency Test for 400 Marks and Skill Test in games for 100 Marks (Total of 500 Marks excluding incentive marks).

There shall be no minimum qualifying marks for the candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
