TGUGCET-2022 notification has been released for admission into residential degree colleges of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree Colleges for Women (TSWRDCW) & Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree Colleges (TTWRDC) for Men and Women for the Academic Year 2022-23.
Through TGUGCET-2022 online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into 1st year B.A/BBA/B.Com/B.Sc Degree (English Medium).
TGUGCET-2022 is conducting through Telangana Social Welfare & Tribal Welfare Residential Educational
Institutions Societies (TSWREIS & TTWREIS). With this entrance test students can get admission into –
- Telangana social welfare residential degree colleges for women (TSWRDCW)
- Telangana tribal welfare residentioal degreee colleges (TTWRDC) for men and women
Eligibily
- Students who are appearing for second year intermediate or equivalent examination to be held in May, 2022.
- Pass in intermediat examination with 40% marks.
- Students who have passed intermediate or equivalent examination with 40% marks including vocational courses held in march, 2021 are also eligible.
- Students whose parent’s annual income is less than Rs. 1,50,000 in rural areas, Rs. 2,00,000 in urban areas are eligible.
- For women college only women candidates and for men colleges only men candidates should apply.
Exam Pattern
Candidate Should choose one of the 5 test streams specified in the table below as per the subjects studied at Intermediate or its equivalent. TGUGCET consists of 4 subjects. Each subject carries 30 question for 30 marks. Total 120 questions for 120 marks. And duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

- The Candidates who have completed vocational courses in
- Engineering subjects with Bridge course are eligible for B.Sc (MPC) and other physical science courses.
- Life sciences subjects including paramedical courses with ‘Bridge course’ are eligible for B.Sc (BZC) and other life science courses.
- Engineering / life sciences (without bridge course) and Commerce and Management courses are eligible for B. Com, BBA &B.A

TGUGCET exam consists of the following 4 subjects :

- Other 3 optional subjects that the candidate pursued in Intermediate.
This syllabus is based on and from Intermediate First & Second year subjects.

In the above categories, candidates shall be allotted against the category (Caste) seats (shown at item No.IV) to which she belongs to –The candidates who participated in National/State level competitions are eligible under Games & Sports quota.
If candidates are not available to fill the seats reserved for ST, SC-CC/BC-C, BC, Minorities, EBC/OC, they shall be allotted to SC candidates (in case of TSWRDCs) as per their option.

If candidates are not available to fill the seats reserved for SC, BC,OC, NCC, Sports, PHC and Exserviceman dependents they shall be allotted to ST candidates (in case of TTW colleges) as per their option.
Note: Candidates belonging to SC,ST,SC-CC,BC-C & BC (All Groups) should submit Community, Nativity andDate of Birth Certificate as per G.O.Ms.No.58 SW Dept., dated 12.05.1997.
How to Apply
Note: First the candidate is informed to go through the prospectus and check eligibility before proceed.
The candidates should visit websites https://www.tswreis.ac.in/ & http://tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in. to access TGUGCET-2022 link.
STEP-1: Registration and Payment : After confirming the eligibility criteria, the candidate should proceed to ONLINE payment of fee of Rs. 150/- from 10-12-2021 to 10-01-2022. While making payment, the candidate has to give the required preliminary data i.e., name, date of birth and mobile number, etc., If the candidate is interested to pursue graduation at Armed Forces Preparatory college mentioned in V (B), the fee will be Rs.250/- (Please check the physical fitness requirements before opting). Candidates who opted Armed Forces Preparatory colleges are also eligible for admission in general colleges and hence are requested to give the preference options for all colleges.
STEP-2: On successful fee payment, Payment Receipt is generated and will be proceeded to STEP-2 with whichhe/she can proceed with online application process. Payment receipt only confirms the receipt ofapplication fee and not the receipt of application form by the Societies.
The Candidate should be ready with the scanned passport size (3.5 X 4.5 cms) photograph and signature in .jpeg/.jpg format with maximum size of 100 KB before filling up the online applicationBased on the course studied at Intermediate or its equivalent, the candidate will be assigned the
respective test as mentioned in III. Examination pattern & syllabus.
The women candidates interested to take admission in 4 Specialized colleges and Armed Forces Preparatory College of TSWRDCs have to give options as per their choice and those who are not interested to take admission into special colleges need not to give option for them. * The male candidates, who are interested to opt for Armed Forces College must select relevant option.
STEP 3: The candidate must give the order of preference for the eligible colleges and courses displayed online (as per the eligibility and preference given during registration). Once the options are given, the candidate can proceed to submit the application. The candidates are advised to take print out of submitted application form for reference.
