RBI Grade B Exam Dates
1. Officers in Gr B (DR)- General:
- Phase-I – Online Examination will be conducted on 09th July 2023
- Phase-II – Paper I, II & III Online Examination will be conducted on 30th July 2023

RBI Grade B Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
The aspirants must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who is permanently settled in India before January 1, 1962.
Educational Qualification
1. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–(General):
- Minimum 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations. The minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor’s degree will be in aggregate for all semesters/years.
2. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DEPR:
- A Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute
- PGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute
- Master’s Degree in Economics in any of the sub-categories of economics i.e. agricultural/ business/ developmental/ applied, etc., with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute
3. Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)–DSIM:
- Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade (aggregate of all semesters/years)
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years and a one-year postgraduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from a reputed Institute
- M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks (aggregate of all semesters/years)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years
Age Limit
Aspirants age must be between 21 to 30 years
Upper Age limit:
Age Relaxation is applicable as per Govt. norms
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PH candidates: 10 years
- PH+OBC: 13 years
- PH+SC/ST: 15 years
RBI Grade B Application Fee
- SC, ST and PWD candiadates have to pay Rs.100
- Gen, OBC, and EWS candidates have to pay Rs. 850
- There is no fee for RBI Staff

RBI Grade B Jobs Salary
The Pay Scale for the RBI Grade B Officer is Rs 55,200-2850(9)-80850-EB-2850(2)-86550-3300(4)-99750. Candidates will have a Basic Pay of Rs. 55,200/- in which he/she will get an increment of Rs. 2850/- till nine years of their services.
